Service Description

Whether you are a beginner or have a little more experience, this course will help you break down fungi ID to its constituent parts and interpret that information. We aim to give you the skills to help you on your journey to confidently identify fungi both in the field and using field guides and keys at home. This course will also cover basic phone photography required to get the best chance of ID'ing your finds using the iNaturalist app. During the course, we'll collect samples of the most interesting specimens, which will be sent for DNA Analysis as part of the Europe Fall Mycoblitz. This Course will be run by Iona and Max, their joint special interests will cover everything from Fungi, Plants, Slime Mould, Photography and more. We're very excited to offer this unique experience, unlike any other course in the UK.
